At Lanterna, we go beyond just teaching – we focus on truly understanding each student. Our unique tutor-student matching process considers your learning style, strengths, academic goals, and personality, ensuring a personalised and effective learning experience.

At Lanterna, you can choose between tutoring from top-performing former IB students who scored a 7 in the subjects they teach or from experienced IB teachers and examiners. To find out which option suits you best, book a free consultation with one of our advisors.

Each session is 60 minutes long.

Together with your student success coach, you can create a personalized study plan and design a tutoring schedule that aligns with your goals.

Our tutors are available in all time zones, so no matter where you are in the world, we can match you with a tutor who fits your schedule.

We can provide an amazing IB qualified teacher within 48 hours, but usually it’s best with 1 week’s notice or more.

Of course – while it is very rare, in some cases the teacher/class chemistry is not a match, and Lanterna will then replace the teacher with one that is better suited.

Of course!  Our teachers love to be involved in the student’s academic success and are always available to answer questions from parents.

Aside from delivering quality lessons for your students, our teachers can also offer support with mock examinations, IA or EE coursework. Whatever the needs of your students and school, our team will curate a package to alleviate those challenges.
